The Applegate Neighborhood Network is comprised of local residents, non-profit organizations and businesses working together to protect what makes the Applegate River Watershed a special place.

Siskiyou Upland Trails Association (SUTA) works to create a community trail system across the Siskiyou upland ridges linking the existing trail systems of Ashland and Jacksonville.

Threatened and Endangered Little Applegate Valley (TELAV) has protected the natural values of the Little Applegate by working to halt or modify many ecologically damaging government projects.
